🚩thoughtful是指“认真思考、全神贯注的这种状态，也可以指对问题深思熟虑这种习惯”，柯林斯解释为If you are thoughtful, you are quiet and serious because you are thinking about something.。

🚩contemplative是指“沉思的，冥思的，按时思考过程持续不断、冷静而又认真，强调把注意力放在所思考的那些高深的、抽象的事物上”，柯林斯解释为Someone who is contemplative thinks deeply, or is thinking in a serious and calm way.。

🚩meditative是指“精神意义上的思考，常常是对某事物的沉思冥想，但不一定对其有充分的理解或结论，有时候也指把沉思冥想当做一种生活乐趣，而不一定是认真的思考”，它与contemplative的区别在于，meditative思考的对象是内在的，而不是外在的，通常是一种自省。柯林斯解释为Meditative describes things that are related to the act of meditating or the act of thinking very deeply about something.。

He looked suddenly sombre, pensive.他突然看起来很阴郁，一副忧虑的样子。
🚩reflective是指“对过去的经历或者刚刚发生的事情做分析性的思考”，柯林斯解释为If you are reflective, you are thinking deeply about something.。它与thoughtful的区别在于，reflective更侧重分析和逻辑的思考，按时具有明确的思考目的，如理解某事物的本质以及该事物与其他之间的关系，并能做出确定的结论。常用在书面语中。

in a reflective frame of mind 在沉思中
I walked on in a reflective mood to the car.我心事重重地向车子走去。
