out of the loop
不了解情况。
loop除了指环形、环路外，还可以表示圆圈、循环，所以这个短语字面意思可以理解为不在圈内。这种说法最早起源于航空领域，在飞行员和调度员之间，"the loop" 指的是一种特定的电报通信方式，如果一个飞行员不在这个电报通信的循环之中，就会被排除在相关的信息和决策之外，从而缺乏了解。
后来这种意思被引申到其他领域，特别是组织、团队或公司中的信息流动和决策过程。如果一个人被排除在一项讨论、计划或决策的循环之外，他就会被认为是"out of the loop"，意味着他缺乏相关信息、无法参与和了解。
