· knockoff 做名词，表示a cheap copy of something expensive，贵的东西的廉价仿制品，山寨品，例如：That watch is a knockoff. Nowadays it can be hard to tell if a product is the genuine article or a knockoff.
· dollar store 指美国的“一美元店”，一般店里的东西是一美元或者几美元，很便宜，和我们国内的一元店或者十元店一样。英国是叫pound shop。
· 说话时口音很重 ：have a thick/strong accent
拓展一些常用的形容口音的单词：
口音很重：broad, marked, pronounced, strong, thick
和地区有关的口音：foreign, local, regional, northern, British, American, Australian
和阶级和背景有关的口音：plummy (上层阶级腔调的), posh (上流社会的), middle-class, public school
· cram 是动词，表示to force something into a small space，硬塞，硬挤，也可以表示人挤在某个小空间里，cram the clothes into a bag （把衣服塞进包里）。考试前抱佛脚，临时学习背诵一大堆知识点，填鸭式学习，也可以用cram，例如：He was up all night cramming for his History exam.
· shady 形容词本义是表示阴凉的，晒不到阳光的，比如a shady street, it's cool and shady under the trees. 可以用比喻义，表示见不得光的，看起来鬼鬼祟祟的，illegal and dishonest，比如a shady man，a shady deal (不正当的交易）。
· upsell 是动词，表示让顾客买更多或者更贵的东西，to persuade a customer to buy more or to buy something more expensive.
· commission 做名词，表示佣金，回扣，提成，比如He takes a 10% commission on the sales he makes. 他拿销售额百分之十的提成。
· chastise /tʃæˈstaɪz/ 及物动词，表示 to criticize someone severely，严厉批评，责备。
