This is how I usually receive a parcel after shopping online. Most of the time when I receive a call from the delivery person telling me the parcel has arrived, I'm away at work so I have him leave the parcel at a nearby collection point or smart locker. Later I pick it up on my way home from work.

When the package is deposited at the collection point, I get a text message as well as a notification from the shopping app where I bought the item. The message contains a six-digit pickup code that shows where my package is stored.

For example, 4-3-6001 indicates that the package is on the third tier of shelf 4 and bears the number 6001. In most cases, I can easily find the parcel myself. If not, I turn to the staff for help.

Once I get the parcel, I check it and make sure it's in good condition. Then I take it to the scanner and scan the bar code on the delivery note. That's how I sign for the parcel.

I don't have to confirm receipt of the parcel on the shopping app. This is usually confirmed automatically ten days after I collect and sign for the parcel at the pickup station, and the order is completed.
