语境：上班的时候老想着放假，心思不在工作上。
I can't stop thinking about the holiday; work is the last thing on my mind.
the last person/thing sb. wants/expects/needs表示the least expected or wanted person or thing，某人最不想要/最不需要的人，最不想做的事等等。
You are the last man/woman in the world I'd marry.
我和谁结婚都不会和你结婚。/就算全世界的男人/女人都没了，我都不可能和你结婚。
She's the last person I want to see right now.
我现在最不想见到的人就是她。
这个短语每个单词我们都会，但如果不知道这个短语就想不到“最不想要”的英语还能这么说。类似的表达我积累了一些，后边整理好发出来。
I keep daydreaming about the holiday.
daydream /ˈdeɪdriːm/ 动词，表示to think about something pleasant，做白日梦，幻想。
We've still got two more days, but my mind's already on vacation.
on vacation /vəˈkeɪʃən/ 表示“放假中，在度假”。
It's hard to focus on work when all I can think about is the holiday.
My mind is elsewhere. I'm barely listening to my boss.
elsewhere /elsˈweə/ 副词，“在别处”，sb's mind is elsewhere表示某人的心思在别的地方，在想别的事情，不关心当前的事，没有在听别人讲话等等。barely /ˈbeəli/ 副词，“几乎不，几乎没有”。
I'm here, but my mind's (a million) miles away.
sb./sb's mind is miles away表示to not be paying attention to anything happening around you，心不在焉，在想别的事情，没有关注到身边的事。a million加不加都可以，加的话语气更夸张一点。
I keep checking the clock and counting down the minutes.
count down动词短语，表示“倒数，倒计时”，be counting (down) the minutes/hours/days表示to be waiting eagerly for something to happen，在倒计时，非常期待某个日子的到来。
如果是当天这种这种时间比较近的就是counting down the minutes/hours，以分钟/小时为单位倒计时；如果是比较远的，比如说放完国庆开始期盼春节，那用counting down the days更合适。
这个短语后边可以搭配to或until，然后再加上期待的事件。
She's counting down the days to her wedding.
The kids are counting down the days until school is over.
注意这一期的句子可能都不太适合在公司或者和同事说，尤其是如果公司氛围比较严肃。和朋友说说还可以。
