·01· do sth while sb is doing sth
在做某事的同时也做另一件事，可以表示“顺便做某事”。
Could you wash the dishes while you're cleaning the kitchen? I just put on hand cream, and I don't want to get my hands wet.
你打扫厨房的时候能顺便洗一下碗吗？我刚擦了护手霜，不想弄湿手。
We can prepare for tomorrow's meeting while we're going over the report; that way we'll save time.
我们看报告的时候可以顺便准备明天的会议，这样可以节省时间。go over sth表示to examine or check something carefully，仔细地检查、查看某物。
·02· do sth while sb's at it
是上一句的简洁版，表示to do sth at the same time as or in addition to doing something else，在做某事的时候把另一件事做了，等于while sb's doing that，it和that指代的具体事情语境中应该提到过。
Are you cleaning the kitchen? Could you wash the dishes while you're at it?
你在打扫厨房吗？能不能顺便洗一下碗？
We're going over the report this afternoon. We can prepare for tomorrow's meeting while we're at it.
我们今天下午要过这份报告，可以顺便准备明天的会议。
