·1. Why didn't you say so?·
“之前怎么没说？”
这一篇最直接也最常用的句型：Why didn't you do sth? 你之前怎么没做某事。say so的so是used to refer back to an idea, action, quality, situation etc that has just been mentioned，指代语境里已经说过的某个内容，比如朋友说明天爬山天气应该不错，可以回答I hope so，我也希望是这样。
say so也可以换成其他表示“说”的表达，比如tell sb, mention sth, bring sth up (提出)。
如果要强调“早点说”，可以加一些关于时间的表达，比如before, earlier, sooner, in the first place (从一开始) 等。
A: I'm buying everyone lunch today.
今天中午我请大家吃饭。
B: Oh, why didn't you say so earlier? I already ordered burgers.
噢，刚才怎么不说呢？我都已经点汉堡了。
A: There's a flash sale at the mall today.
购物中心今天有限时促销。
B: Really? Why didn't you mention it earlier? We could've gone together!
真的吗？怎么不早说？我们本来可以一起去的！
A: You knew the meeting was cancelled? Why didn't you tell me sooner?
你知道会议取消了？为什么不早点告诉我？
B: I sent you a message! Didn't you get it?
我给你发信息了！你没收到吗？
·2. You should/could have told me.·
“你早该和我说的/本来可以早点告诉我的。”
should have done sth表示某件事本来应该做但没做，经常用来表达后悔或者失望。You should have told me带有埋怨、责怪的语气，因为别人应该说、有责任说却没说，给自己造成麻烦。
could have done sth表示某件事本来可以做，但是没做，You could have told me比should have语气缓和一点，侧重之前有机会、有时间说，但是却没说。
A: The museum closes on Monday? You should've told me sooner. I would've planned something else.
博物馆周一闭馆？你怎么不早说呢。那样我会做别的安排。
B: Oh, I thought you knew.
哦，我还以为你知道呢。
A: I didn't know the report was due today. You should have said that in the first place.
我不知道今天要交报告。这事你应该从一开始就告诉我啊。due /djuː/ /duː/ 形容词，表示expected to happen or arrive at a particular time，预期发生的，到期的。
B: I mentioned it in the group chat last week. I thought everyone knew it.
我上周在群里提过。我以为大家都知道。
A: You could've told me about the problem sooner. Now we don't have enough time to fix it.
这个问题你可以早点和我说的。现在才说，没时间处理了。
B: Sorry, I didn't think it was urgent.
对不起，我不知道会很紧急。
·3. Why did you wait until now to say this?·
“怎么等到现在才说？”
wait until+时间点/事件+to do sth表示等到某个时候才做某事。这个句子情绪比较强烈，埋怨和恼怒的语气很比较重，日常口语里不如上边两个那么常用。
A: I need to make some changes to the report.
报告我还要改。
B: Why did you wait until now to say this? I already sent it to the client.
怎么等到现在才说？我都发给客户了。
A: I think we should prepare some small gifts for the clients.
我觉得我们应该给客户准备一些小礼物。
B: Why did you wait until now to bring this up? The meeting's in 20 minutes.
怎么不早点提出来？再过20分钟就要开会了。
