·1. 时间穿越·
时间穿越一般叫time travel或者travel in/through time。
travel本身可以做名词和动词，所以这两个短语可以作名词和动词短语用，我查了一些语料，time travel作名词用比较多，travel in/through time一般作动词。
例：Some people believe that time travel might be possible someday, but there's no scientific proof yet.
有些人认为，时间旅行也许有一天会实现，但目前还没有科学证据。
例：In this movie, the main characters use a time machine to travel through time.
在这部电影中，主角们用时光机穿越时空。
·2. 穿回过去 or 穿去未来·
backward/forward time travel
一对反义词：backward /'bækwə(r)d/ 形容词，朝着后边的。forward /'fɔː(r)wə(r)d/ 形容词，向前的。这两个词作形容词时一般只用在名词前。
travel back/forward in time
travel (back) into/to the past
travel (forward) into/to the future
travel也可以换成go。
例：Based on what we know about the universe, forward time travel seems possible, but going back in time? Not so much.
根据我们对宇宙的了解，穿越去未来似乎有可能，但回到过去呢？不太可能。not so much是一个固定短语，used to refer back to something that has been mentioned, saying that it is less true for someone or something else，表示前边提到的情况对后者不适用，后者则不然。
例：If you travelled back in time and changed the past, you'd create a parallel universe.
如果你穿越回去，改变了过去，就会创造出一个平行宇宙。
A: If I could travel back in time, I'd love to go to the year 3024 to see–
如果我能回到过去，我很想去 3024 年看——
B: Hold on. If you travelled to the future, you wouldn't be immune to the diseases that everyone else is immune to, and you'd die.
等等，如果你穿越到未来，其他人都能免疫的疾病你却不能免疫，你会死掉。immune /ɪ'mjuːn/ 形容词，“免疫的”。
A: Buzzkill
.扫兴鬼。buzzkill /'bʌzkɪl/ 名词，口语里用，表示扫兴的人或事，这篇有更具体的笔记。
·3. 穿越去某个时间·
travel (back/forward) to+朝代、年份等
travel (back/forward) to (the time) when ...
有具体时间能判断是未来还是过去，所以back/forward可以省略。
因为目前还没有穿越的可能，所以讨论穿越的时候一般用虚拟语气，常用句式If I could travel in time, I would go/travel to...
例：If you could travel in time, where or when would you go, and why?
如果能穿越，你想去哪，去什么时代，为什么？
例：I'd go back to dinosaur times to see what they actually looked like.
我想回到恐龙时代，看看恐龙到底是什么样子。
例：I'd travel back to when I spent entire afternoons playing outside without a care in the world.
我想回到能无忧无虑在外边玩整个下午的年纪。care在这里是名词，表示something that causes problems and makes you anxious or sad，烦恼，忧虑，烦心事，是一个偏文学性的用法。without a care in the world或者don't have a care in the world是一个习语，表示无忧无虑，一点烦心事都没有。
例：I'd love to go to the Qing Dynasty to stop Cao Xueqin from destroying the last forty chapters of his novel.
我想回到清朝，阻止曹雪芹毁掉他小说最后四十章。
例：I'd travel to 2054 – exactly 30 years from now – to see if AI has taken over the world.
我想穿越到2054年——也就是30年后——看看人工智能是否已经统治了世界。take over sth表示to get control of something, or to do something instead of someone else，从别人手里接管了某物，接替某人做某事。
·4. 穿越文/剧经典开篇情节·
The heroine has an accident and goes into a coma or dies in the present timeline.
女主角出了意外，在现在的时间线上陷入昏迷或者去世。coma /'kəʊmə/ 名词，表示重伤重病引起的昏迷。
Her soul travels to the past.
她的灵魂穿越到了过去。
She gets transported into a book, a game, or some fantasy world.
她穿进了一本书、一个游戏或某个玄幻世界里。transport作名词时读/'trænspɔːt/ (重音在前)，表示运送人或或物的交通运输系统；在这个例句里是动词，读/træn'spɔːt/ (重音在后)，表示运输人或货物，在这个语境表示人被输送到另一个时空里。
She wakes up in another woman's body.
她在另一个女人的身体里醒来。
She takes over another woman's body who has just died.
她穿进一个刚刚去世的女人的身体。
She becomes someone else.
她变成了另一个人。
She tries to find a way back to her own time.
她想办法回到自己的时空。
