·1. 不堂食：to go·
to go 固定短语，if you buy cooked food to go in a restaurant or shop, you buy it to take away and eat somewhere else，在店里买食物之后打包带走去别的地方吃，用于美式英语。
▶ 和外带相对的是堂食：for here，eat here或者eat in。
▶ 常用结构：
For here or to go?
(店员问) 在这儿吃还是打包？
I'd like...to go.
(顾客说) 我要点...，打包带走。I'd like可以省略，直接说要点的东西加上to go。
A: I'd like a cheeseburger and a cappuccino.
我要一个芝士汉堡和一杯卡布奇诺。cappuccino /kæpə'tʃiːnəʊ/
B: Sure, for here or to go?
好的，在这儿吃还是打包？
A: To go, thanks.
打包，谢谢。

·2. 不堂食：take away/out·
take away表示to buy cooked food at a restaurant and carry it away to eat, for example at home，和to go意思一样，常用于英式英语，美式英语里常用take out。
▶ 对应的名词形式是takeaway和takeout，表示a meal that you buy at a shop or restaurant to eat at home，打包外带的食物，或者a shop or restaurant that sells meals to be eaten somewhere else，卖外带食物的店。
▶ 也可以用作形容词，用在名词前，a takeaway/takeout pizza。
A: Can I have one chicken sandwich, please?
我要一个鸡肉三明治，谢谢。
B: Is that to eat here or take away?
在这里吃还是带走？也可以说To eat in or take out?
例：I'd like a takeout pizza.
我要一个披萨，打包。
例：Can I get a pizza to take away? Thank you.
我要一个披萨，打包，谢谢。
·3. 吃不完打包·
leftover /'leftəʊvə(r)/ 名词，food that has not been eaten at the end of a meal，没吃完的菜，剩菜，经常用复数形式leftovers。
▶ 也可以把它用作形容词，remaining after all the rest has been used, taken, or eaten，只用在名词前，表示吃剩的，用剩的。
▶ 打包带走剩菜可以说take the leftovers home，take the leftover food with me。
▶ 或者用具体的“打包”动词：pack up/wrap up/box up the leftovers。pack up是最通用的说法，wrap up是“包起来”，一般是用纸或者锡纸等，box up是用盒子装起来。
▶ 有个短语叫doggy bag (或者写成doggie bag /'dɒɡi/ /'dɔːɡi/)，表示a bag for taking home any food that is left after a meal in a restaurant，用来打包剩菜的袋子。
为什么叫doggy bag，意思是剩菜是带回去喂狗的，有些人有养狗，也有些人是不好意思打包剩菜回去吃，所以说带回去喂狗，有点像委婉语。
但现在打包很普遍，不用不好意思，而且用盒子打包多一点，所以doggy bag这个单词在慢慢过时，比较少听到了。
▶ 想要打包时，最简单就是直接说“我想打包”，不用说用什么装，服务员知道要怎么做的：
I'd like to take this home, please.
I'd like to take this with me, thank you.
▶ 如果想要打包盒自己装：
Could I get a box?
I'd like a box. Thank you.
Could you get me a box?
▶ 想请服务员帮忙打包：
Can you pack this up for me, please?
Can you wrap this up for me?
Could you box up the leftovers?
