Xiaohong:The institution last week conducted its first ever "wartime response exercise" centered on evacuating its artifacts. It's said that the most important goal of this exercise is to let staff know who is doing what if war breaks out, and how to react.

Taiwan’s National Palace Museum is making ready to evacuate its holdings.

Last week, the museum conducted its first-ever wartime response exercise, which focused on saving around 90,000 of the relics in its 700,000-item collection, prioritizing those of highest value and those easiest to move.

The National Taiwan Museum, the National Museum of Taiwan History and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts are also working on evacuation plans.
Even though the National Palace Museum in Taipei issued a public statement, saying that "There is absolutely no such a thing", this rumour is still haunted every Chinese.
