More recenlty, a short video has gone viral. It was of a Chinese schoolgirl giving her take on the Ukraine conflict with reference to the historical novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which she had been reading.
菲律宾外长特奥多罗⋅洛钦（Teodoro Locsin Jr.）在个人推特上多次转发一则中国孩子用《三国演义》谈俄乌冲突的视频。
She compared Nato to Cao Cao, the warlord军阀 portrayed as bold and unscrupulous无道德原则的，肆无忌惮的 in the novel. Ukraine is like Jing province, which Cao took, leaving no buffer缓冲区（地带）between him in the north and warlord Sun Quan in the east, she said. This would lead to the Battle of Red Cliffs赤壁之战at the end of the Han dynasty, which happened about 1,800 years ago; Cao lost the naval battle海战and his fleet舰队 was set on fire.

Philippine Foreign Secretary Teddy Locsin Jr saw the video and was so impressed that he tweeted it, and the Chinese media reported that he was thinking of sending his granddaughter to study in China. He tweeted, "Her Chinese generation are China's and the world's best hope. "
特奥多罗⋅洛钦称，“这是俄乌局势最有智慧的点评”，大赞小女孩“这一代中国人是中国乃至世界的希望”。他还希望自己的孙女可以在中国学习。

She is so erudite that she could make this analogy, but the fact is the U.S. is waging a proxy war（代理人战争） in Ukraine, which is even more complicated than the novel.
