Xiaohong：For money, of course. Just imagine they are in a shabby house with a laptop connected with Wifi, working from home and earning money from us.

I’m curious to know how these criminals hijacked our accounts with ease. The root cause is users scanning fake QR code for video game login, which allowed hackers to hijack user accounts to spread ads. But according to the announcement by Tencent, affected accounts have gradually returned to normal. And the staff warned that users should not scan QR code from unknown sources.

Many users complained on the internet about the illegal access to their accounts but they could do nothing about it. One said, “I was sentenced to death socially because I was kicked out of many chatting groups owing to spreading a lot of porn ads. ”
Ray joked, “I was a decent man until 1:00 a.m. today and I am innocent now.”
