Xiaohua：Wow, amazing! Xiaohong, you know what, when I search Taiwan Province on Baidu Maps, I can see so many familiar street names.
小华：哇，太棒了。小红，你知道吗？我在百度地图上搜索到了台湾省，我能看到好多熟悉的街道名字。
Xiaohong：Let me take a look. So cool! I can also find the street names on Gaode Maps.
小红：我来看看。太酷了吧。我也能在高德地图上找到（台湾省）街道名。
Xiaohua：What! I've found a restaurant ——Shan Xi Dao Xiao Mian, Knife Cut Noodles.
小华：什么！我找到了一家山西刀削面餐馆。
Xiaohong：It's so exciting. Do you want to go there to enjoy a bowl of noodels?
小红：太让人兴奋了。你想去台湾吃一碗刀削面吗？
Xiaohua：How? I don't even have a permit, though.
小华：怎么去哦？我连通行证都没有。
Xiaohong：Maybe years later, we don't even need it because China is revamping a plan to build a high-speed railway connecting Beijing and Taiwan. The whole project should be completed by 2035.
小红：也许数年后，我们都不需要通行证了，因为中国正在修改连接北京和台湾的高速铁路计划。整个工程应该在2035年完成。
Xiaohua：Yes. I hear that the plans include two more expressways connecting Quanzhou and Kinmen.
小华：嗯，我听说计划还包括两条连接泉州和金门的高速路。

I have found that Taipei's streets contain a secret map of China. The city's street names are related closely to the geography of China. The central point of the map is on top of the Executive Yuan at the corner of Zhongxiao and Zhongshan roads – this divides Taipei into four quadrants, and the names of roads within these quadrants loosely match their positions on a map of China.
我发现台北市的街道上有一个秘密的中国地图。这座城市的街道名称与中国的地理环境密切相关。地图的中心点在行政院的顶部，在忠孝路和中山路的拐角处——这将台北分为四个象限，这些象限内的道路名称与它们在中国地图上的位置大致匹配。
For example the names “Ningxia” and “Taiyuan” are located in the northwestern part of the city, “Changchun” and “Jilin” roads in the northeast and “Guilin” and “Xizang” roads are in the Southwest of Taipei.
These four quadrants are based loosely on a cross created by two railway lines in China: the Longhai and Pinghan lines.
例如，“宁夏”和“太原”位于城市的西北部，“长春”和“吉林”道路在东北，“桂林”和“西藏”道路在台北的西南。
这四个象限大致基于中国两条铁路线形成的一个十字：陇海线和平汉线（京汉线）。
