Paul Coelho:
Maria
因为Maria说,她需要思考,不停地思考,永不停歇地思考;
她选择去更高档的咖啡店阅读,喝比一般咖啡昂贵3倍的咖啡;
At every moment of our lives,we all have one foot in a fairy tale and the other in the abyss, let's keep this beginning.
I‘ve already been here an eternity.I don't speak the language,I spend all day listening to music on the radio, looking round my room, thinking about Brazil, longing for work to begin and ,when I'm working ,longing to get back to the appartment. In other words,I'm living the future not the present.
In Brazil she had read a book about a shepherd who ,in searching for his treasure, encounters various difficulties, and these difficulties help him to get what he wants.(这里作者有点调皮,还设了个彩蛋)
Read.Forget everything you've been told about books and just read.
(忍不住想起Naval Ravikant对阅读的观点,比如Read what you love until you love to read.)
Life always waits for some crisis to occur before revealing itself at its most brilliant, the phone finally rang.
That's what the world is like:people talk as if they knew everything, but if you dare to ask a question, they don't know anything.
Some people were born to face life alone, and this is neither good nor bad,it is simply life.
When she realized that releasing tension in the soul could be as lucrative as releasing tension in the body,if not more lucrative, she started going the library again.
9、Eleven minutes. The world revolved around something that only took eleven minutes.
Keep passion at bay or surrendering blindly to it-which of these two attitudes is the least destructive?
Sometimes life is very mean:a person can spend days, weeks, months and years without feelling anything new. Then when a door opens -as happened with Maria when she met Ralf Hart-a positive avalanche pours in.One moment, you have nothing, the next, you have more than you can cope with.
Anyway,remarks like that never killed anyone-they were part of the life of any successful person, and it was best to get used to them.
The strongest love is the love that can demonstrate its fragility.
If you want to achieve your objectives, you have to be prepared for a daily dose of pain or discomfort. At first,it's unpleasant and demotivating, but in time you come to realize that it's part of the process of feeling good, and the moment arrives when ,if you don't feel pain, you have s sense that the exercises aren't having the desired effect.
In order to master the soul, one must also learn to master the body.
