这是一个俚语，informal，口语里用。字面意思是把自己的鼻子伸到某事里，表示to show too much interest in a situation that does not involve you，太热衷于和自己无关的事情，喜欢管闲事。
You shouldn't stick your nose into other people's business.
你不应该插手别人的事。
He always sticks his nose in everything that happens around here.
只要是这里发生的事他都要管。
nosy
nosy /ˈnəʊzi/ 形容词，表示too interested in other people's business，对别人的事过于感兴趣，喜欢打听的。这个词是informal非正式用语，口语里用，可以表示批评，也可以只是朋友之间开玩笑。
My neighbour is really nosy; she always watches what I'm doing.
我的邻居真的很八卦，她总是看我在做什么。
Don't be so nosy, I'll tell you what happened later.
别那么八卦，我一会儿再告诉你发生了什么。
butt in
butt /bʌt/ 作动词时表示“(动物) 用角顶撞 (某物)”，butt in动词短语，表示插嘴打断别人讲话，或者插手别人的事，也是一个informal的短语。
注意butt in的用法和不及物动词一样，如果后边还要加宾语，需要加一个on，butt in on sth。
She kept on butting in with silly comments.
她不停地插嘴，评论些很傻的话。
They don't want outsiders butting in on their family matters.

busybody
busybody /ˈbɪziˌbɒdi/ 可数名词，表示someone who is too interested in other people’s private activities，爱管闲事的人，爱打听的人，哪哪都有他，是贬义词。
The office busybody knows everything about everyone.
办公室里那个爱管闲事的人知道所有人的事。
We try to avoid that old lady because she's the neighbourhood busybody.
我们尽量避开那个老太太，因为她是这邻里最爱管闲事的。

meddle/interfere
meddle /ˈmedl/ ，interfere /ˌɪntəˈfɪə/， 两个不及物动词，搭配介词in或者with。
meddle/interfere in/with sth. 表示to deliberately get involved in a situation where you are not wanted or needed，插手干涉别人的事，掺和自己不了解的事情。
People shouldn't meddle/interfere in/with things they don't fully understand.
人们不应该插手他们不了解来龙去脉的事。
It's their problem and I'm not going to interfere.
这是他们的事，我不会插手。
meddlesome/interfering
/ˈmedlsəm/, /ɪntəʳfɪərɪŋ/ 这是上边两个动词的形容词形式，表示“爱管闲事的”。
My meddlesome neighbour keeps trying to give me advice on how to raise my children.
我那爱管闲事的邻居总是想教我如何教育孩子。
It's frustrating dealing with such an interfering relative who is always giving advice on every aspect of my life.
和这样一个爱管闲事的亲戚打交道真的很烦，他一直对我生活各方面指指点点。
