01 get in trouble with sb
这个短语比较笼统，表示因为做了某事惹某人不高兴，某人可能会找你麻烦，或给你点小惩罚，一般是不严重的惩罚，比如被骂一顿。
也可以说get sb in trouble with sb，害某人被某人骂，害某人惹某人不高兴。
You'd better be home by 10, or you'll get me in trouble with Dad.
你最好十点前回家，不然会害我被老爸说。
My little brother broke the window, and somehow I was the one who got in trouble for it.

02 get a talking-to from sb
talking-to是名词，表示a severe talk with someone who has done something wrong，严肃批评某人做错的事，一般是上级对下级，或者长辈对晚辈。
常用结构是get a (good) talking-to from sb，被某人(好好)教训了一顿; give sb a (good) talking-to，(好好)教训某人一顿。

tell sb off表示to speak angrily to someone because they have done something wrong，因为某人做错事而生气地对他说话。

04 get yelled at by sb
yell /jel/ 动词，表示to shout or say something very loudly, especially because you are frightened, angry, or excited，因为生气、激动等情绪大喊，大声说话。
yell at sb，大声冲某人说话，被动形式是get yelled at by sb，某人冲你大喊大叫——挨骂有时候是这样。这个说法形容骂人的人很大声很激动。

05 get an earful from sb
表示someone spoke angrily to you for quite a long time，被某人久久地骂了一顿，一直念叨，听得人耳朵满满的。非正式口语里用。
earful这个单词基本只用在这个短语里，表示“生气的话，批评的话”。
I'd better not be late for dinner or my wife will give me an earful.
我晚餐不能迟到，不然要被我老婆大骂一顿。

06 get chewed out by sb
chew sb out表示to tell someone off in a very angry way，因为某人做错事而非常生气地骂他，主要是美式英语里用。chew /tʃuː/ 动词，表示“咀嚼”。
He got chewed out by his boss for missing the deadline.
他因为错过截止日期，被老板臭骂了一顿。
Mom is going to chew you out if you don't clean your room.
你要是不把房间整理好，老妈会骂死你的。
07 be scolded by sb
scold /skəʊld/ 动词，表示to angrily criticize someone, especially a child, about something they have done，生气地批评某人做错的事，scold是这一篇里边最书面的单词，日常口语里用tell off就可以。
They were scolded by the coach for poor performance.
他们因为表现不好被教练责骂。
My supervisor scolded me for not finishing the report on time.
我没有按时完成报告，被上司骂了。
:D 一想到“骂”第一反应都是比较书面的那些单词，像criticize，reproach，reprimand，rebuke，chastise，但是日常和朋友说“我被我妈骂了”用这些单词感觉又太正式了，所以就想分享这一篇。
“骂”除了“做错事挨骂”，还有“辱骂”，不算同一种吧骂，后边应该还会有一篇“辱骂”的日常说法。（骂字看久了有点不认识这个字了...）
