01 You wish!
“你想得美”，to tell someone that they will not get what they want，当别人告诉你一个想法或期盼之后说的，表示你觉得不可能实现，顶多算个愿望，开玩笑的语气。
A: Maybe we can leave early today.
也许今天可以早点走。
B: You wish! It’s the busiest day of the week.
想得美！一周就这天最忙。
A: Maybe I'll win Employee of the Year.
也许我会拿年度最佳员工奖。“年度 (优秀) 员工”英语叫employee of the year，例句里做奖项的名字所以首字母用大写了。月度优秀员工可以叫employee of the month.
B: You wish. You're late every day.
你想得美，你天天都迟到。
02 Yeah, right.
习语，反语，表示I don't believe you; that's not true，效果类似于阴阳怪气说“是嘛”，不只是“想得美”，只要是对别人说的话表示怀疑、不相信时都可以用。
A: She said she'd call me back right away.
她说马上给我回电话。
B: Yeah, right. She's been saying that all week.
是嘛，她这话说一周了。
A: If we finish the report today, maybe the boss will let us take Friday off.
如果我们今天把报告写完，也许老板会同意让我们周五休假。
B: Yeah, right. And pigs fly.
想得美，老板能同意，猪都会飞了。中文说“母猪都会上树”，英语是说“猪都能飞了”，pigs (might/can) fly是一个习语，口语里用，表示不可能发生的事。
03 Fat chance.
习语，字面意思“机会很大，概率很大”，其实是反语，表示there is no chance of that happening，指某人说的事情不可能会发生，没有希望的。
A: Do you think they'll give us free tickets to the concert?
你觉得他们会给我们免费的演唱会门票吗？
B: Fat chance. Those tickets sold out months ago.
想得美，票几个月前就卖光了。
A: They might let us work from home tomorrow because of the rain.
明天下雨，他们可能会让我们居家办公。
B: Fat chance. They barely let us stay home during a typhoon.
你想多了，台风来了都不让我们居家。
04 In your dreams./Keep dreaming.
“梦里什么都有；做梦去吧”，表示你觉得别人说的事情不现实，不可能发生，在说梦话，只是白日梦。
A: Maybe the teacher will cancel the exam.
说不定老师会取消考试。
B: Keep dreaming. She's been talking about it for weeks.
想得美，她念叨考试已经念叨几周了。
A: I'll save up and buy a villa by the sea next year.
我要存钱，明年在海边买栋别墅。
B: In your dreams. You still owe me for last week's pizza!
梦里啥都有，你还欠我上周的披萨钱呢！
05 Wishful thinking.
上边其他表达都有讽刺或者打趣的语气，wishful thinking语气相对比较中性，表示the act of wanting something to happen or be true when it is very unlikely，希望某件事情会发生，想得挺美好的，尽管知道不太可能，可以说别人也可以说自己。
You think you can pass the exam without studying? Wishful thinking.
你觉得你不复习能考过？想得挺美。
A: Do you really think we can get a table at 7 p.m. on a Friday?
你真的觉得周五晚上7点能订到位子啊？
B: Just wishful thinking. It's raining. Some people might cancel.
我只是想想啦，下雨了，说不定有些人会取消预订。
06 表示“不可能，想都别想”但不带讽刺语气的说法：
A: Would you take care of my pet snake when I'm away?
我不在的时候，你能照顾我的宠物蛇吗？
B: No way! I'm terrified of snakes.
不可能！我最怕蛇了。
A: Do you think the restaurant will take a reservation on New Year's Eve?
你觉得跨年夜餐厅还接受订位吗？
B: Not a chance. It's booked out weeks in advance.
别想了，几周前就订满了。
A: Maybe I'll finally get some peace and quiet at work today.
也许今天我能安安静静工作。peace and quiet是一个名词短语，表示宁静，不被打扰，没有压力，清净。
B: That's not gonna happen. It's Monday. It's always chaos.
那是不可能的。今天是星期一，星期一总是乱糟糟的。chaos UK /'keɪɒs/, US /'keɪɑːs/ 不可数名词，表示lack of order，混乱。
