row /rəʊ/ 名词，最常用的含义是a line of things or people next to each other，一排的人或物，比如说a row of seats，一排座位。
in a row固定短语，表示one after another without a break，一个接着一个，没有中断，前边可以加连续发生的事件或时间。这个表达经常用于口语和非正式书面语境。
例：I went to that restaurant for lunch three days in a row last week.
上周我连续三天去那家餐厅吃午饭。
例：I've gone to the gym seven days in a row. It's a new record for me!
我已经连续七天去健身房了。这是我的新纪录！
例：I've been working overtime for four weeks in a row. I can't remember the last time I got a good night's sleep.

/streɪt/ 作副词，表示happening one after the other in a series，一系列连着发生。也可以作形容词，表示“连续的”，形容词表示这个含义时只用在名词前。
连续x天：for x days straight，或者for x straight days。常用于口语。
例：We worked for 16 hours straight without a break last Friday.
上周五我们连续工作了16个小时，没有片刻休息。
例：They've been partying for 4 nights straight. I don't know how they do it.
他们已经连续开了4个晚上的派对了。我不知道他们怎么受得了。

on end是固定短语，表示continuously，“连续地”，口语中没有前两个表达用得多。
例：It rained for three days on end, and we couldn't leave the house.
一连下了三天雨，我们出不了门。
例：When I lost my job last year, I would stay in my flat for days on end, going out only to get food.
去年我失业那段时间，有时候会一连几天都待在公寓里，只有买食物的时候才出门。
例：The power outage lasted for four days on end.
停电一停就是四天。
·4. consecutive·
/kən'sekjətɪv/ 形容词，表示following one after another without an interruption，连续的，连着发生的，经常用在名词前边。这个单词一般用在书面和比较正式的语境，日常口语比较少用。
例：She was absent for eight consecutive days last month, and the boss was not happy about it.
她上个月八天没来上班，领导很不高兴。
例：The store has been running a BOGO promotion for three consecutive days.
店里连续三天办“买一送一”促销活动。BOGO或者BOGOF是“买一送一”的缩写，buy one, get one (free)。
例：This is the fifth consecutive weekend that I've spent working.
这是我连续第五个周末在上班。
例：The team has lost 10 consecutive games, and the coach is under pressure to turn things around.
球队已经连续输了10场比赛，教练面临着扭转局面的压力。turn sth around表示to cause a situation or organization to change in a positive direction，扭转不好的情况、局势。
